Last week Kentucky football put the world on notice in Indianapolis with “man of the hour” Will Levis participating in the much-anticipated throwing portion of the NFL Combine.
Levis’ confidence was certainly in the right spot – as he had this to say about why he chose to participate when most QBs opt out:

Levis certainly showed off “the cannon” and left scouts and critics extremely impressed:
Will Levis currently leads all QB’s in fastest velocity at 59 MPH at the NFL Combine.
For context, Patrick Mahomes threw 55 mph.
Justin Herbert threw 55 mph.
Lamar Jackson threw 49 mph.
Only Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen have thrown faster than Levis since 2016.

My final eval on Kentucky QB Will Levis’ #NFLCombine workout:
-Started out hot and was clearly the best QB in the group
-In the middle, was aiming the ball too much i/o letting it rip
-Finished strong and had a good performance overall#NFLDraft

Did @will_levis put the cannon on display the way he wanted to? ⤵️

His measurables were utterly impressive as well. He officially comes in at 6’4″ and 229 pounds and registered a 34-inch vertical leap and a 10’4″ broad jump. He has a 10⅝” hand size and a 32-inch arm length. There’s no lack of physical tools that go with his uncanny-throwing ability. Levis has been widely considered the best QB in the draft, and last week he may have cemented his status as being the first QB off the board on draft night. Levis represented Kentucky the best that anyone could have. Big Blue Nation cannot wait to see where he lands on April 27th!
